Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ato.run and related web, PWA, API, sharing, execution, and integration features (the “Service”).
The Service is operated by [SERVICE OPERATOR NAME] (“Ato”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, including through a guest or shared link, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and IP Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Service Scope
ato.run lets users create, run, store, share, discover, and interact with software experiences and application instances. Depending on the feature, the Service may allow you to:
- create or import software from source files or other supported inputs;
- run software in a browser or on managed execution infrastructure;
- save application data and state;
- share software or application instances privately, by link, or publicly;
- participate in a shared activity with other people or authorized AI clients;
- connect supported AI clients or developer tools through APIs, MCP, or similar interfaces; and
- grant those clients limited access to application data or operations.
The Service is under active development. Features, execution methods, limits, compatibility, and availability may change.
Unless we expressly state otherwise, ato.run is not the developer, publisher, or operator of third-party software made available through the Service.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
Some parts of ato.run may be available without an account, including certain public or link-shared experiences. Other features may require an account, including saving work, creating or publishing software, managing access, or connecting external clients.
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your credentials, and all activity performed through your account or authorization grants.
Do not share access credentials or authorization links in a way that would allow unintended persons to control your account or private data.
3. Guest and Link Access
A creator may allow a software experience or application instance to be accessed through a public or unlisted link without sign-in.
If you use such a link:
- the person who controls the link may revoke or change access at any time;
- anyone who obtains a bearer-style link may be able to access the linked experience, depending on its settings;
- guest access may be temporary and may not preserve your work after the session ends; and
- you must not assume that link-shared content is confidential unless the interface expressly says so.
Do not place confidential, personal, or regulated information into a guest or shared experience unless you understand who can access it.
4. User Content and Software
“User Content” includes source files, software, app assets, icons, descriptions, saved data, application state, operation definitions, activity content, uploaded files, and other materials you submit to the Service.
You retain ownership of your User Content.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, cache, transform as technically necessary, execute, transmit, display, and distribute your User Content only as needed to operate the Service and according to the visibility and sharing settings you choose.
For example:
- Private content is processed to provide it to you and authorized users.
- Link-shared content is processed so recipients of the link can access it.
- Public content may be displayed and distributed to other ato.run users and visitors.
This license ends when the relevant content is deleted from the Service, except to the extent temporary copies remain in backups, caches, security records, or are required by law.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit and use User Content through the Service, including any third-party source code, media, trademarks, datasets, or other protected material.
5. Third-Party Software and Services
Software available through ato.run may depend on third-party software, websites, models, APIs, packages, or services.
Third-party terms may apply separately. You are responsible for complying with applicable licenses and terms.
We do not guarantee that third-party software or services are accurate, secure, lawful, continuously available, compatible with ato.run, or suitable for your purpose.
Links to or integrations with third-party services do not imply endorsement.
6. Shared Activities and Collaborative Control
Some ato.run experiences allow multiple participants to observe or interact with the same software or shared state.
When you join a shared activity, your actions may affect the experience seen by other participants. Other participants may also change shared state, data, or outputs.
You must not use shared control to impersonate others, obtain unauthorized access, destroy data, disrupt a session, or exceed the permissions granted to you.
Creators are responsible for choosing appropriate access settings for shared experiences.
7. AI Clients, MCP, and Authorized Operations
ato.run may allow you to connect third-party AI clients, coding agents, or automation tools.
Where supported, you control the permissions granted to those clients. Permissions may include reading application data, writing application data, or invoking defined operations.
A connected client may act on your behalf within the permissions you authorize. You are responsible for reviewing requested permissions and for instructions you give to connected clients.
AI-generated output and automated actions can be incorrect, incomplete, destructive, or unexpected. Review important actions and outputs before relying on them.
We may require separate, resource-specific consent before a connected client can access particular application data or operations.
8. Execution and Security Risks
ato.run may execute software supplied by users or third parties. We use isolation, permission, validation, and abuse-prevention controls, but no execution or scanning system can eliminate all risk.
You must not:
- intentionally upload or operate malware or credential-stealing code;
- attempt to escape, bypass, or weaken isolation or access controls;
- attack ato.run, its users, runners, connected services, or third parties;
- use the Service for unauthorized access, surveillance, credential harvesting, or data exfiltration; or
- cause execution that violates law or third-party rights.
Additional restrictions are in the Acceptable Use Policy.
9. Public Content, Moderation, and Takedowns
Content marked public may be visible to anyone.
We may review, restrict, unlist, disable, or remove content, sharing links, application instances, or accounts when we reasonably believe this is necessary to:
- enforce these Terms or our policies;
- respond to security incidents or abuse;
- comply with legal obligations or valid requests;
- protect users or third parties; or
- maintain the stability of the Service.
Rights holders may submit infringement reports under our IP Policy.
Removal from public distribution does not necessarily erase every technical copy immediately. Backups, caches, security records, or evidence required for legal or abuse handling may be retained for a limited period.
10. Service Data and Portability
The Service may store application data, state, source, execution metadata, activity records, and other information needed to provide ato.run.
You are responsible for maintaining independent copies of data that you cannot afford to lose.
During beta or preview operation, we do not guarantee permanent storage, backward compatibility, uninterrupted access, or preservation of every intermediate execution state.
Where export or deletion tools are provided, you are responsible for using them before terminating your account or access.
11. Fees
The current public release may include free features and limited execution resources.
If we introduce paid plans, compute, subscriptions, transactions, or other paid features, we will display the applicable price and additional terms before charging you.
We will not charge you merely because you accessed a public or guest experience unless the interface clearly presents a paid transaction and you agree to it.
12. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time.
We may suspend or terminate access, revoke sharing links, restrict execution, or remove content if reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, non-payment of future paid services, or material violation of these Terms.
Where appropriate, we may give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. We may act immediately where delay could create security, legal, or user harm.
13. Beta, Availability, and No Warranty
The Service is provided on an “as available” basis.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure against every attack, compatible with every software package, or that a saved or shared software state can always be reproduced exactly.
You are responsible for deciding whether the Service is appropriate for any important, sensitive, regulated, or production use.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ato is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the Service, third-party software, shared sessions, connected AI clients, or loss of data.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection law.
15. Indemnity for Rights Violations and Misuse
To the extent permitted by applicable law, if your User Content, software, or intentional misuse of the Service causes a third-party claim against Ato, you are responsible for losses and reasonable costs arising from that claim to the extent caused by your unlawful conduct or breach of these Terms.
This section does not require a consumer to indemnify us for losses caused by our own acts where applicable law does not allow such allocation.
16. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may change or discontinue features as the Service evolves.
We may update these Terms in accordance with applicable law. If a change materially affects users' rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable notice before the change takes effect where required.
The effective date at the top of this page shows when the current Terms apply.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Nothing in this section limits any mandatory rights or jurisdiction available to consumers under applicable law.
Before filing a formal claim, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the issue.
